Engineered construction means a real oak wear layer over a dimensionally-stable core, so it handles basements and over-concrete installs that solid hardwood can't. Wire-brushed and UV-cured finishes across most of the range.

For buyers who want classic ¾" solid Red Oak, Impressive's Canadian-made solid line is available in two widths (3¼" and 4¼") and two grades (Select and Select & Better), starting at $5.25/sqft. Nail-down over plywood — the proven method that lasts decades and can be sanded and refinished multiple times.
