Sherwood Forest Products makes solid maple and red oak hardwood in 3¼" and 4¼" plank widths. These are the traditional dimensions that have been the standard in North American homes for decades.

Red Oak (3¼" and 4¼"): The most popular hardwood species in North America. Warm tones, visible grain character, and excellent stain absorption. Red oak at 1,290 Janka is plenty durable for residential use and takes on completely different personalities depending on the stain colour.

Sherwood solid hardwood ranges from $5.69 to $7.00/sqft. The 3¼" planks sit at the lower end of the range, and the 4¼" options trend higher. Both are competitive for ¾" solid hardwood — a product category where prices at other retailers often start at $7+.
