Canadian-Made Flooring in Toronto

Most flooring on Toronto showroom floors is imported. If you specifically want Canadian-made hardwood — milled here, built for our climate — the selection narrows fast. BBS Flooring stocks 131 Canadian-made options serving Toronto, across engineered and solid hardwood: Northernest, Sherwood Forest Products and Wickham Hardwood Flooring.

We're a short drive from the city in Markham, and we bring the samples to you — free in-home measurements across North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, East York, and downtown Toronto. See the grain and colour in your own light before you commit.

Toronto's climate is hard on flooring — dry, heated winters and humid summers mean wood expands and contracts all year. Canadian-made hardwood is milled and acclimatized for exactly these conditions, so it's more dimensionally stable than product shipped across an ocean and finished in a distant factory. Shorter supply chains, domestic support, and floors built from the start for the home they'll live in.

Our Canadian-made engineered hardwood is from Northernest — 63 options in Hickory and White Oak from $3.49/sqft to $6.99. Engineered construction installs over concrete and in condos and basements where solid hardwood can't go — a big deal for Toronto's condo and older-home mix.

For classic ¾" solid hardwood milled in Canada, pricing starts at $5.10/sqft (Northernest Maple, Red Oak and White Oak), with Sherwood Forest Products from $5.49 and Wickham Hardwood Flooring on call-for-pricing — the buy-it-once floor for main-floor living areas.

We deliver across Toronto — warehouse pickup is free, garage delivery $140, inside-home $200 — and offer free in-home measurements throughout the city and the wider GTA. Prefer to browse first?
